yeah i know i kinda already made a thread about this, but, well, here goes

My Birthday is in a few days and a friend of mine gave me an EBOW! Always wanted one of these to play with..... My buddy is a huge early Genesis fan and Steve Hackett used these Ebows on a few classic tunes.... also Bowies tune Heros and Nazareth's This Flight Tonights solo is an EBOW... Even the backing track to the Who's Who Are You has an EBOW.... the backing track to Who Are You is Pete holding an ebow on the low e string while his guitar is fed into his ARP Synth and a little Fender Princton.....

I am posting because while I love my strat (it's a 2003 Fender MIJ Strat, Sunburst '63 RI with Harmonic Design Vintage plus s.c.'s in the neck amp; middle amp; a Harmonic Design S90 in the Bridge- it looks, sounds amp; feels totally killer), amp; play it prolly more than my other electric (MIA FENDER TELE) I have been thinking that I should probably get an American made Strat.

What blue/green/turquoise/ greens has Fender offered? I only know about Surf Green and Seafoam Green, and I can never figure out which is which. Also, was there ever a more quot;grayed outquot; green color that is similar to Seafoam but not as intense? I guess something between seafom/surf and Daphne/Sonic blue?

I'm new to the group and I would like some help in selecting the right pup's for my Strat. It's an American made with an Ash body and a maple neck amp; fingerboard. It has a HSS config. now but I'm not stuck on that. My other American Strat has 2 Fender Texas Specials and a SD Pearly Gates (which I LOVE) in the bridge. With the new Strat I would like a different sound than what I already have. My music style is good ol' rock amp; roll.

I spent the better part of the evening getting acquainted with my new P-Bass. I've been playing guitar for about 14 years now, but this is my first bass (other than renting one a year ago for a couple of days). Here is what I've observed so far:
