Some of you may remember I've had a love/hate affair with my Vox Valvetronix amps. I just have not been able to get a great sound out of it..at least on the models I need. It's just never sounded quot;rightquot; to me.

Where can I purchase an A3 or A4 magnet? Does anyone have any they would be willing to sell? Good results? How is the A8 in relation? Anyways, I live in San Antonio. Would Sam Ash, or any local music shop carry these magnets, or is this uncommon, something that has to be ordered? Thanks in advance.

I'm really excited as my Twangbanger arrived safe and sound today! I was a little concerned after reading some of the posts here about people being scammed. The pickup was originally on ebay here in the UK, while I was trying to sell my Strat. I needed the funds for any purchase, so was unable to bid on it. I contacted him via email to ask if he was going to relist and he said he probably would but to let him know if I was still interested. A week later I sold my guitar and emailed to say I'd like the pickup. All of the deal was done privately. I didn't think much about it, until I saw some of the problems other people had.

This might have been done before but for all of you out there who own a modded Telecaster, I'm curious to know the pups you have in it and why you chose them. (I'm thinking of modding my current Telecaster so I'm looking for the best ones).

I want to make a pedal board that allows me to switch the effects out of the circuit. If I have the guitar and amp jacks, and the seperate effects loop jacks, what is the best way to switch the effects out of the circuit? Could I just wire a 2 way switch and if so how do I wire it?
