Some guy on ebay was selling a strat neck with a wilkinson roller nut, he said that it rarely goes out of tune when you use the whammy bar.
Would it be a good idea to install one of these on my ibanez sa160qm and locking tuners? I find it goes out of tune a little too often.thanks guys

Ok....the guitar is a swamp ash strat, maple/maple board that KMC just finished for me in a translucent white finish (pics later).

Alright; I've currently got 2 16ohm speakers in my 2x12, but I'm thinking about buying a speaker to mix in off one of our forum bro's. The problem is, his speakers are 8 ohm.

I am normally an Alnico II humbucker man and just love the Seth's but my 93 LP Studio is just a naturally dark sounding guitar and the neck slot seems to kill the sound of a lot of good pickups. I have tried just about all of the PAFish buckers in it but it really turns them to mush. Even when I lower the pickup and adjust the pole pieces. I currenlty have a Phat Cat there and I like it but it is still a bit dark sounding and well, for lack of a better word mushy. The only neck pickup I haven't tried is a Jazz. Could that be the answer? I want the neck to sound the way the seth neck sounds in my other guitars.

Alright, next on my gear list is a tubescreamer...but I've been thinking; do I really need a high end one, or to get it modded, for what I'd be doing with it?

in other words is there a HS-3 type in the duncan line?
maybe the classic stack?

Ordered a handmade Plexi with more gain on tap at higher volume, but it has a master volume so I will hear them at lower volumes. It is built by builder Ed Giller...

I don't know which song it is. I recorded everything with cooledit using an old Zoom 2020 and my fender us strat FR special with an emg85 on the bridge position. I hope you like it.
