I have two Police academy classes, one in the day and one in the evening.
For the staff I want to combine both spread sheets into one. When I make
adjustments in the combined spread sheet I would like the information to be
corrected in the other two spreadsheets/files.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

You should have one master file that is updated. Because you want to
make changes to the combined spreadsheet, that needs to be the master.
Then have formulas in the other two spreadsheets that relate back to
the combined one.
e.g. put this into A2 of Day.xls
='[Combined.xls]Sheet1'!A2 relates to the Combined sheet (cell A2 of
Sheet 1).
So when you change A2 in Combined.xls, the result of this formula in A2
of Day.xls will show the same result.
Copy this formula down and across as necessary.
