I would like to apply this 80/20 law to groups of items within a given
vendor's line. I have attached a file with the following done.
1. Arrange the values in decending order
2. Calculate values as a percentage of the total
3. Calculate thd cumulative percentage in decending order.
What I'd like is a quot;Aquot; - quot;Dquot; Column to match the ranking below
4. A column identifying the sales history A B C D E
quot;Aquot; ranked products responsible for 80% of sales
quot;Bquot; ranked products responsible for 15% of sales
quot;Cquot; ranked products responsible for 4% of sales
quot;Dquot; ranked products responsible for 1% of sales
5. I'd also like to see how the listing below is expressed.
First 40%, cumulative 40% are quot;Aquot; items
Second 40% cumulative 80% are quot;Bquot; items
Next 15% cumulative 95% arer quot;Cquot; items
Next 4% cumulaitive 99% are quot;Dquot; items
Last 1% cumulative 100% are quot;Equot; items -------------------------------------------------------------------
