I am trying to create a running balance, I have selected the fill handle but
it does not seem to fill down. I either get a copy of the contents of that
cell all the way down or I get blank cells. I am using office 2003 but I
think the file I am doing this on may have been created on office 2002.
Could this be the problem or am I doing something wrong?
What are the contents of the cell you're trying to copy? It's possible
that you have an absolute cell reference in there, like $A$1. You
might try changing that to $A1 if you're dragging down.
However, if you're also using a cell reference that shouldn't change,
like
Sheet2!B3, you'll have to make that one absolute: Sheet2!$B$3.

Not so much a star as someone who has made the same type of quot;simplequot; error.
Thanks for the feedback.Gord
