I have a sheet with the following data:
WKLY HRS 36.99 WKLY PAY $671.81 RATE HR $18.16
I need to the formula to find the rate per hours. The problem I'm
having is that I cannot find the Excel function which formats 36.99 as
hours, not fractions of the day.
I have tried Customgt; [h]:mm which results in 887:45 and I understand
that Excel is multiplying by 24. I have tried Customgt; h:m which results
in 23:45.
It also seems that Excel is rounding the time. While I want Excel to
round the hourly rate I do not want the _time_ rounded.
Many, many thanks in advance!--

Hi!
Not sure what you want.......
If you want to convert decimal 36.99 to h:mm format 36:59
=36.99/24
Format as [h]:mm
