I wish to wrap text across a number of columns and ensure this text is
justified.

You will find what you need under cell formating.

Select the cells you want eg. A11
Then Formatgt;Cells
Select the Alignment Tab

Horizontal : Justify
Merge cells : Checkmark On

Hope it helps

For centering col headers,
try also the quot;Center Across Selectionquot; option
under Horizontal (Text alignment)
(achieves the same visual w/o using merged cells)

Merge cells may cause downstream problems,
so its best to avoid this

Thank you for your response. This has worked well however the text I am
inserting always types from the bottom - I would like to be able to type the
text from the top as I will not always fill each section completely within
the merge cells and typing from the bottom will leave blank lines at the top
of my response.

Hope this makes sense.

In the same area 'Format gt; Cells gt; Alignment'.
There is a vertical alignment - change it to top, or center etc.

Anytime.

Good to hear and thank you for your feedback :-)

I'd just like to add my two cents on this....Actually, it doesn't achieve
exactly the same visual if the text is long. I had the same issue, but when
I chose quot;center across selectionquot; it quot;centeredquot; each line rather than
quot;justifyingquot; the whole cell. I had to choose quot;justifyquot; with quot;merge cellsquot;
checked.

You can use Center Across Selection and then Left Justify the text.
