This is a hard thing to explain, but I have been sent an excel document,
where the cells with data in come up as white and all other cells are grey.
I am not wanting to hide rows, but find out how this works.

What happens is if you type anything in the quot;greyquot; area, as soon as you
press enter, it incorporates your new data into the white area, so the grey
row that you entered data into automatically becomes white. From what I can
see, some how it quot;highlightsquot; the first and last column with data in and then
the first and last row with data it. If you leave 5 rows blank and then
enter data, the 5 blank rows also become white, as it forms part of the
quot;rangequot; of data as it were......

I am not sure if that makes sense.

Look forward to any input on this one.
