I created a sample 3D chart that is just what I want and now I cannot
recreate it with the real data.
The problem is with the category labels. The data is laid out with a
tech standard in cell B1(which is b1,c1 d1 merged into one cell) and in
cell b2 is proficient, c2 is part. proficient, d2 is unsatisfactory.
There are 3 data series. So the chart is a 3d column chart and the row
2 category labels (proficient, part. proficient, unsatisfactory) are
vertical with vertical lines between them. Directly under that in
horizontal text is the tech standard (cell b1), there are longer
vertical lines separating each standard.
Anyway, I cannot recreate this chart's category labels layout. The data
is laid out the same, etc. When I choose format axis the sample chart is
grayed out for the x-axis under the scale tab. Then the alignment tab
has an offset option. Otherwise the 2 charts are the same... as far as
I can tell.
I would really appreciate any help!--
