I assume you've checked that it is not in the list of recently opened
Excel files under the file menu.

The next step is to use the windows explorer search tool.

Then look under the directories you commonly use.

If these steps don't help, what other information do you have about the
file, it's location, how you saved it, etc that might be a clue?--
