Hi!
I have text in cells that are situated above each other, and I let the text
fill the cells completely from top to bottom. I'm trying to create text with
no horizontal lines in between when I print, but that doesn't happen. The
grid lines still leave very thin white lines between the cells.
I've also tried to have several lines in one cell, but couldn't find any way
to affect the distance between two text lines.
Is there any help you could offer?

Petter,
Have you turned off the gridlines by going to 'Tools' gt; 'Options' gt;
'View' tab and unchecking the gridlines?
Not sure what you mean re the second part - The line spaces can't be
altered in Excel as far as I'm aware, like they can in Word. I'm not
sure from your message if you have text wrapping...if not go to
'Format' gt; 'Cells' and the 'Alignment' tab and check the box.
You can then add your own borders via 'Format' gt; 'Cells' gt; 'Border'
tab.
....and you can of course wrap text where you want by holding down the
'Alt' key and hitting enter whilst typing in a cell.
Hope this helps--
Big Chris

1. Tools gt; Options gt; View and clear the gridlines checkbox
2. File gt; Page Setup gt; Sheet and clear the gridlines checkbox
3. select the cells you are going to print and:
Format gt; Cellls... gt; Patterns and for color choose White (lower right)

Thanks for the tip.
Tried it, but it didn't really do anything. The thin white lines are still
present when you print.
Any more ideas are welcome...quot;Gary''s Studentquot; wrote:
