hello, thanks for ur time

i got two files that i output from access into excel. 1 file that gets the
two output files together into 1 spreedsheet. when i open this file, i get
the msg quot;Updatequot;, quot;Don't Updatequot;. if i press quot;Updatequot; the msg quot;unable to
read filequot; shows up, and the file doesn't update with new values.
any ideias??

In order for the update to work, the name and column names of the source
files must stay the same. If you are naming the exported files differently,
or if the column names are different, the update won't work.
