I have an excel sheet that is PW protected and I have locked the cells
that I wish to remain uneditable by the user. I have two cells that
are on this particular worksheet that even though locked, allow values
to be entered. Is there any reason why some cells don't allow you to
lock them? Is there any way I can fix this?--

gt;
unprotect the worksheet
select the cells that allow access
goto FORMAT gt; CELLS gt; PROTECTION TAB
and select the 'Locked' check box
do this for all cells you find are editable that you want to lock down
then turn back on the protection
