i am maintaing stock items in single sheet. This sheet contains stock
items in
two categories one is stock and another is retail.
i want to display all the stock items automatically in the next sheet.--

Instead of creating a second sheet, turn on autofiltering from the Data
menu.
Make sure only a single cell is selected and Click Data gt; Filter gt;
Autofilter

Assuming one column identifies which items are stock, you can click on
the
small triangle at the top of that column and select quot;stockquot;

Then only the stock items will be displayed and the others will be
hidden.--
