This is an '03 model with the Hi-output bridge pickup and the upgrade RI Toaster neck pickup. My tech reoriented the volume and tone pots to that of a Gibson and rewired the useless 2nd neck volume control (5th pot) to be a master volume. The guitar is virtually unplayed yet recently setup. It's truly a wonderful playing and sounding instrument but I'm too used to Gibsons. I'd like to trade it even up for an SG Standard in the same mint condition if anyone is interested. Yes, I have the OEM black HS case and all the candy it came with.

Some Squiers are pretty damn good
I just got my brother's Affinity Strat off him, and love it! It needs some work (pickups and such) but it's a keeper.

Bass Amps
I found an old pic of my Bass amps. These particular amps are the 300x300w model. Sort of like the GK800 on steroids. It's nice to see a picture of all these together- as I still have all the pieces, but they're all split up now. The bottom head is still my primary backup head, the top one sounds really great- but it's been modded to hell and it's kind of fragile.

What can I expect tone-wise from this wood combination?
one piece mahogany strat body, rosewood neck with ebony fretboard. Too mushy, muddy? I have no idea what a rosewood neck would sound like.

Improve your phrasing
Every time I jam with my friends or when I'm just playing at home I always find myself using much of the same standard Blues licks every time. I think improvisation is one of the most important skills of guitar playing, but how do you improve your improvisation skills and phrasing? Any techniques or does it just come naturally..

Got a cool weather station for music room.
I went to Shopco and got a nice little digital unit with a remote censor. I has inside humidity, and temp, with outside temp too. The brand is Acurite. Now I can moniter the humidity better.
