I think I am sold on the ants but was wondering how they compared to the alnico II pro as far as clean tones. The sound samples of the alnico II pro sounded great distorted but Im not too sure about the clean sound. i have never heard the ants clean so if someone could describe that as well it would be great. I am putting it in a gibson 335.

I'm guessing there's zero effect on tone, so do you just go for aesthetics and align them perpendicular or parallel to the strings? Or just leave 'em wherever they wind up as you adjust them?
