Just got this p/u about a month ago, but it doesn't fit my style. It's a nice powerful p/u, but I'm going with the Fralin Blues Specials instead. I bought this for $67 shipping from Torres. I'll settle on $45, shipping. Thanks.

So I know the twangbanger has one and Evan mentioned the baseplates for our custom pups, so my question is, what does it do? One person said more mids, but how, why?

I was so f***ing suprised at how well it was put together I couldn't believe it. The fretwork was just about the best I've *ever*, yes EVER seen and it played really well. They most likely used cheap rosewood for the boards but they used ebony stain I'm guessing and it looked fantastic! The binding was flawless and everything was well done except the nut. It was cheap and plastic-y looking and it wasn't cut very well but I'd say if you got a quality nut and a set of your favorite pickups and electronics you'd have a custom shop equivalent guitar.

I have a Boss Turbo Distortion that I don't use anymore. It is in excellent physical condition with just a couple of paint chips from normal use, and is in perfect working condition. I can take some pics if anyone is interested. $40 shipping obo.

Will installing a new bone nut onto my Epi Les Paul Custom damage the finish around the nut area? One of the guitar techs i spoke to said installing a new nut might damage the finish and laquer. Is this true?

I just read a thread that mentioned the quot;battery sagquot; thing, relative to an effects pedal. I've seen this mentioned before and it reminded me that Jack Orman has a circuit that simulates that function. My lil ole technical brain doesn't get this. Can someone explain the benefit of a dying battery to tone please?

From Giller amps, NY. Exact clone of a mid-nineties (ef86 version) matchless clubman. It's the only one Ed has ever built, made from a hand-drawn matchless schematic.
