Hey guys, I'm in the midst of replacing a row of pole pieces on my invader with a row of regular slot head screws hoping to get some more sing and clarity out of it. It seems though that no matter how much I twist them, the oxidized poles just sit at the same height and spin away, not coming loose or anything. Is there anything I don't know here or am I going to pull the whole PU apart? Thanks in advance for any help dudes.

Just wondering. Everyone slags the guy off, and I could bet a fair chunk of them have never talked to the guy or dealt with him. Not defending the guy cause I never met him myself. But the proof is in the pudding. So to those who've actually got experience with the above guitar, what was it like?

Do you find that you move the fine tuners when you are playing? I havent played mine overly much, but I can see it happening.

Hi there.I wanteed to introduce myself and say thanks in advance for any help given.I'm Don Hogan,mostly an acoustic player trying to make the jump to electric guitar.That's why I bought a Godin guitar.It is the LGX3 and has an active LR-Baggs bridge (saddle piezo pickups).The electric side has 3 duckbucker pickups in a strat style layout.The duckbucker pickups sound very fuzzy when played.It happens all the time , at any volume, using any pickup combination.The pickups are very quite,no hum at all.But when you play rher is a rattle/fuzzy sound to all the notes.The sound is in the background all the time.If you play a note and mute the guitar quickly,then you don't notice it.Do I need a better pickup ,setup,etc...???Thanks,,,Don

Can someone with good ears help me to find out the notes and the pattern of this clip?

I'm thinking of making one HSS strat as beefy as possible, so I'm pulling out the vintage neck and middle and replacing them with lil 59's, lil PG, Jb Jr. coolrails, or maybe hotrails, in black only. Anybody wanna get rid of any of these?

What do you think and which model do you have?

Woohoo, I recieved my Epi SG jr. 3 days after it was sent. It is everything I expected more. Also, The seller was amazing, he freshly oiled the fret board, the set up is very nice. It came packed very well, and the only damage is a little scratch that was mentioned in the Auction. It is only noticable when you look very closely. It plays so well, he even put brand new strings. I wasn't to sure about the p-90 because I never played one, But gosh! It is awesome, the cleans are to die for, it sounds better then any pickup I have ever tried personally on cleans. So smooth and full of bite, I like how the sound is almost a little dark but still a good amount of warmth. Of course I had to change my settings on my amp because it is lacking bass, I figured it would because of the sg's thin body. Also, I heard the P-90 was noisy but on clean channel it is not that noisy at all.

Hey guys- I'm back. My registration got killed in one of the crashes about a year ago and I never bothered to sign up again.

I hate the sound of undersaddle pickups; I much prefer magnetics, especially with a little eq tweaking. I have a couple questions about the SA-1 Acoustic Tube pickup.
