Hey everyone! I was fiddling around with my rig, and had an idea (yes, an idea. BEWARE!). Can any exsisting line selector change the setup so that my multieffects unit is either in the effects loop, or goes directly into the amp?

I was just chatting with bungalobill about this. No matter how high or low I adjust this pup, I get this odd ringing, or quot;aftertonequot; on the top three strings from around the 10th fret up to around the 16th or 17th. Its an irritating, piercing sound. Low in volume, almost like a harmonic. I have to keep the tone control down to 2 - 3 to make it listenable.

I've been reading really good things about the MXL V69M tube powed microphone. Is it still a good thing to put it through a tube preamp like the Presonus tube pre Studio Projects VTB-1 or should I just use the phantom power in my interface?
