Hey, dudes and dudettes. So I've contacted a couple people (Brian of Baja Tech Custom, and Mike of Analogman) to see if they can mod either a Big Muff Pi or a Graphic Fuzz (the latter I already own) to replace all the cheezy, cheap caps, resistors, and transistors with good ones to make them a more responsive, full-bodied, and less buzzy and harsh.

Well, I never thought my take on a little Marshall clone (Edana) would be so popular. And, I thouight my take on the Matchless Lightning (Franklin) would be way more popular, but no.... not at all.

I have an ESP 400 Strat (alder-ish body, maple neck) that currently has TS in neck and middle and an Air Zone in the bridge; after all the chatter about Twangbangers recently, I am wanting to change back to S/S/S! So, would the Twangbanger mix with the TS I have already or would I be better off getting APSs or SSLs? I was thinking of going with Jimmie Vaughan-style wiring (master volume, tone for neck, tone for bridge, middle quot;openquot;) I have a Jeff Beck Strat for rock and heavy blues so I am looking for this Strat to be more quot;vintagequot; but with Texas blues edge to it... Any thoughts?

I own a Mesa walkabout and Im looking for a cab that will really make floor shake and give me all the bottom end i need. I was looking at peavey 115 cab but still not sure if this is a good idea. If any one has any sugestions they would be great.

Could you guys who teach guitar give me some tips and/or advice on Teaching guitar.For now i know of a few beginners who want lessons and may start in a few weeks.
I was hoping that those of you who have the experience of teaching guitar could give me some rules of thumb, and mabye tried nad trusted starting points etc etc..

I want to get an additional 2x10 to add to my fender combo but can't find any mid-priced mass produced ones. Does anybody know of any sites that give some basic details to get started with this?

The was a thread a while back about a quot;tapquot; technically being when you run a line out of a single coil. This got me thinking...could you wire a P-90 to be like say, a custom or hot, and then quot;tapquot; it so it could run just like a vintage? I've always wanted an LP Junior, but the one pup thing scares me. This way I could go Vintage or Kicked-up....can that be done? Or would it end up a weak hot/custom?
