Can anybody tell me anything about this pickup? There is little to no info on the net, and even the Bill Lawrence forum has almost nothing. Any info would be a huge help.

Line 6 HD147 quick review
I picked up a line 6 hd147 head at guitar center's memorial day sale for $400. They regularly sell for $1,249. I bought it just for the investment value and to turn a profit on ebay. But now the more I play it, the more I like it. It's not ALL high gain, the cleans are great and the mid gains are super too. The JCM800 amp model is KILLER!! As for the high gain, you can get some really crushing distortion from this thing. I wish I could keep it, but I need to turn a profit on it. Maybe down the road I might buy one. I was pleasantly surprised by this thing. You can get some really good lead tones after doing some tweaking too, and the effects are great also.

New axe...
Well, when my black limba Satch project went belly-up, I started looking around for a guitar to fill the gap it was going to live in until maybe one day down the road I can try again (with another builder of course). Enter forum brother g0gIver... he happened to be selling a 1994 Ibanez JS600. Needless to say I bought it, and it got here today. It looks great, I'll be dropping in some pickups and maybe swapping out the tuners for locking ones today.
That's a smooth looking guitar, man. The jack placement looks like it would feel akward. Have you had to adjust?

Guitar for sale
Up for sale is a 2005 Michael Kelly Patriot LP with sunburst finish. This guitar is freakin' awesome. Not a blemish on it. However, I did do a pup swap. I stuck in a set of double black Duncan 59's.
So make me some offers ladies and gentlemen

Pickups for a Randy Rhoads tribute guitar
I recently aquired a custom Randy Rhoads style flying V. From what I know it was hand made in a small shop somewhere in South Carolina. Unlike the newer Jackson RR's this one is very true to the origional design, keeping the 4 knob configuration and a toggle switch on the top with the trademark pearl white finish and black pinstripes (much like the custom Zakk Wylde has.) and it even has a nice little engraving on the back quot;In Memory of Randy Rhoads.quot; Randy was a very early inspiration to me and because of that I want this ax to be as much of a tribute to his style and tone as possible so I wanted to post here to ask for advice as to what Duncan pickups should be put in it. Just looking around I've seen many people say that the Distortion/Jazz combo is what Zakk has in his and that is what Randy used but I am also interested in hearing other opinions as well.

How do you play your Wah Wah pedal? If you play right handed do you pedal right footed or left?

talk to me about capacitors
So i've finally decided to order a full shred pu set for my ibanez and i'm worried about capacitors. The duncans are going to replace emgs so i know that i have to buy 500K pots, but what about capacitors?
Can i use the same capacitors that were connected to the emg pots?
