i have saved up a quite good amount of money about 1200€(ca. 1600$) and since i fell in love with the Telecaster sound on albums of Wintersun and ensiferum i really would like to get a real good tele and for the guys here who know those bands: maybe some pickup recommendations? I'm sure you guys can help me find something. I just can't get the tone with humbuckers allthough i spend hours experimentating on my vetta II.

if you've got one you'd like to get rid of, i'd like to give you $40 for it (though that price is certainly negotiable).

with a 59'. A 59'TB to be exact. Had one installed in my Alvarez Scoop (basswood amp; either maple or alder flame top, not sure which) when I took it in for a complete re-fit a few months ago. I didn't like the way it sounded initially, so I kind of put it up and forgot about it.

I have a Strat pup (from a Godin guitar - fantastic sounding single coil) that I want to use with another Strat pup but I would like to have hum cancelling when they are on together.
The pup in question has a bar magnet on the bottom attached with wax and the usual 6 rods (like any Strat pup).

Ok, I have SM57s, SM58s, AKG PL790s and an AKG C3000B. Im gearing up to record live drums but I'm short a kick drum mic.

On thease new matched sets that Seymour has just released, do they only come in one color scheme? I want the JB/59 combo for my newest Jackson, but I check a couple online dealers and they only have solid black. I wanted the neck pup to be zebra, yeh, I'm one of those guys who is just that picky. I ordered the pickups from my local dealer but it may take a month for them to get here! CRAPOLA!!!!

I usually leave my J-Station set to the Black Face setting, which is great for the jazzy/bluesy stuff I usually do, but I was just messing around with it and discovered that the quot;Tweedquot; setting, with some gain dialed in, sounds cool with the Tele-clone.

I got an SLA-2 by ART that crapped out. I'm looking for a similar amp, at least 100 watts per side, stereo, 150-250 price range. No big tube stuff please!

Yes...I'm still a beginner, but I only have this crappy SS Marshall amp to practice with, and I'm not happy with the sound.. So if you know a reasonable priced little tube combo please check in.. Everything from 10 watts to 30 watts is welcome. But I will however mention that I'm a hard rock/heavy metal kind of guy, so it should be able to handle that, however, I do play more mellow, 'normal' styles also. And I don't play live, only bedroom practicing..so far at least. That is why I figure that 30 watts should be maximum with a tube amp, but it doesn't mean you can't post if you for example know a good, reasonable priced 50 watt tube combo.

When you buy the magnets do you have to buy them in bulk? I have allstarmagnetics address already, just wondering if I could buy them singly.
