The Title says it pretty much... Looking for an OFR in Black with the short block for recessed mounting.

For those of you that use guitarport to record or play, what are your favorite settings on the amp menu? I just got it and I'm trying to figure some good settings. What mic setups do you like to use, what amp etc?

Welll.... I have been using s for quite a while now... can't be doing with all that EMG's tosh...
My set up was a Jackson RR1 with a JB (Soon to be replaced with a Full Shred...) and a Jazz and my RG570 with a Full Shred, Duckbucker and Jazz. BUT Only the other day I went out on a whim and bought a spot production Ibanez RG1550FM-RBT... now I have a Jazz in the neck of all my guitars and there is no question of it's capabilites, I love that pickup... but I was wondering if you people in the know here could suggest another neck Pickup that can do the job a little differently?

ok, just wandering what this does for the playablitly of the guitar? why do people do it?

I have 3 Pickups laying around collecting dust so they are now for sale or trade.

If anyone has any of these pickups laying around and they'd like to get rid of them, please let me know either in this thread or via PM.

so im bidding on this amp on ebay, the auction ends today. the auction ends at 4:22. I have a doctors appointment at 4:15. How bad does that suck! and its like an hour away, so i just have to hope my max bid stays on top and wait till like 6, at least, to check and see if i won! argh! :dammit:

So, I play hard. I break strings pretty often - it's not uncommon for me to change strings every two-three weeks.

At practice last night, my guitarist was having a hell of a time trying to get any clarity out of his rig. He's playing a Tom Delonge Strat (Invader), Boss DS-1 and a Marshall 2204 halfstack. The clean sounds fine almost regardless of what we do. It's the distortion that's giving us headaches.

Just curious as I had never heard of it before. I liked the sound clip and on Duncan's website it was a recommended pickup when I used their online pickup selecting function.
