I noticed that you have willie and mark from lamb of god under the custom. They don't use that pickup IIRC.(unless they changed recently)(mark uses invades, willie uses JBs)......
interesting...*ponders away*secondly: Under guitar builders, it says that the ESP Horizion II comes with JB/APH, but the ESP site say it comes with JB/59....interesting...*ponders away somemore*

Strat Hum-Cancelling Schematic...2 or 4 wires?
Hi. I'm building my first project guitar and I'm not sure about the wiring for hum-cancelling strat picups. On the schematics page of the Duncan site the Hum-Cancelling strat pickups are shown with only 2 wires...but on the Tone Chart it says they have 4 (I haven't yet bought the pickups to check). I'd like to do an H/S/S configuration with 3 individual on/off switches. But the hum-cancelling strat pickups don't have schematics for on/off switches, only the regular single coil pickups do. Would a hum-cancling strat pickup be wired to an on/off switch as if it were a humbucker? I'm a little confused and help would be appreciated.

Robbie Robertson's Strat
I just watched quot; The Last Waltzquot; again, and as many times as I've seen it, I don't think I ever noticed before that Robbie's Strat had no middle pickup. I would almost say that it was a Richie Blackmore Strat, except that I think The Band came first. Not sure of the timeline here.

Turret board kits for a DRRI
I was getting a little bit worried about PCB's being delicate and was wondering if anybody made a pre-loaded turret board for a DRRI?

Schecter C-1 FR
I'm lookin to pick up a new axe....something different then I already have. Something to play metal type stuff, something light, something with a tremelo. The lead guitarist from avenged sevenfold uses a Schecter C-1 FR...and they're actually pretty cheap. Sites I found online have them for around 599. I havent really heard a lot about them....other than some people complaining aobut the strings being extremely high off the fretboard, but that can't easily be brought down right? It won't cause certain frets to buzz will it? I love the tone the dude from avenged gets (he also has a duncan invader in the bridge) so I'm seriously considering buying one. Nobody near me carries them though, and the only sites I've found selling it online seem shady to me. Anybody know anywhere online that's reliable to buy from that carries these? I've heard you can find them for 450-500 even. Anyways, here's the guitar.....

The DD has a real sweet tone when set away from the strings!
I wqas messin around with height settings and found that the DD sounds very sweet when set far from the strings
It still has aggression but takes on a more P.A.F type tone, this was a very pleasent suprise!

Why does everyone hate the JB ?
So after going through the Duncan forum I've noticed that people have a hatred for the JB. What's the story ? I know that in certain guitars the PU works and in some it sounds like ****.
