Anyone have experience with these?

I recently posted a thread in the GS forum about amplitube software. Origionally my luck with this software was not too good. I had a hard time at first getting anything remotely useable, however I've played with it a little bit more since I got my new soundcard and have actually been fairly impressed with it.

I've got a nickel covered CC that has the vintage 2 cond. cable - I want to make it a 4 for the tapping versatility.

i have a E-MU 0404 Soundcard installed and the software PatchMix DSP, the problem is that i can not hear any sound played back from my recording software (wavelab) but i can play an mp3 with windows media player and i can hear it fine. if anyone has PatchMix DSP can you tell me your settings or help me out? I have 5 Ports Wave L/R; PCI IN L; PCI IN R; PCI Card S/PDIF L/R; and ASIO 1/2. once again my inputs are fine i can hear my microphone thru the computer but after i record it, i cannot hear the playback. very frusterating!

I decided to play modified strats as my main guitars and now that i decided that i can't stop buying and building them here is the latest strat and my first with a non-recessed floyd (which kicks ass BTW) and my only rosewood board strat. the pickguard is temporary as i'm waiting on a gloss black one (same 1 hum, 1 knob setup though.) anyway, quot;the guy who invented firequot; asked to see it in another post.

Would be interested in trading a good working black Screamin' Demon pickup ( regular spacing ) for a Trembucker spaced black Screamin' Demon. I'll pay shipping both ways.

I have $350 to spend on a new guitar. I need something that will hold up, sounds good for pop-punk, and is not a strat shape. My choices are Epiphone Dot Studio and a Squier Jagmaster 2. I just want to know which one is overall better for my style and also which duncans are in the squier. Any other suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

I just got my first set of the basic guaged nut files, and i'm pretty freaking ticked off that $12.95 got me shuch a wimpy file, with paint on metal for a quot;gripquot; instead of a handle. the tolerancing better be very tough for these things to cost so much!!!!!!!

Been listening to some Shadows and Cliff Richard recently and i wonder how he get's his tone. He used the classic fender strat and i have heard he have used a Burns guitar also, did he use that guitar in the early days? Amps are AC-30's? Does he play with a pick or with fingers, if with fingers any special playing style? Does he have a special way to bend or is it just to bend as usual? Roundwound/Flatwound strings? Gauge?

Do '65 blackface deluxes normally go for about 1100 dollars?
