I've got a black, semi-worn on one corner EMG 81 without the quick connect and a 2 month old 85, looking to get a high output bucket for the bridge and Full Shred, Jazz, or PAF Pro for the neck. I've got two jacks and two pots I can include, but I need to get a 500k pot in trade as well. The only pickups I won't consider are JB's, DD's, or Invaders for bridge, 59's and Air Nortons for the neck.

I have a bunch of LiveWires coming. One is a set of Classics, H/S/S, so that's no prob, and another one I have coming is suposedly a Metal LiveWire. The previous owner says it's HOT HOT HOT!!! But doesn't know for sure. Is there any way to test them to determine which they are for sure?

i have a pearly gates that i am going to use with a push pull pot my guitar only has one volume control. and i was looking at the diagrams on here and saw that there was a few ground wires. my questions where do they all need to go? theres 2 that comes off the pot and then i have to put the central ground from the bridge somewhere on the pot and also need to put the one from my jack on the pot somewhere. my guitar has a les paul type bridge so i dont have anywhere else to run the ground and the second question is which side do i need to put the red and white wire on the back of the pot? there's 6 prongs and i dont know which side is suppossed to be which by looking at the diagram.

I just turned my amp on to play some clean stuff an hour ago and noticed i was getting breakup at even low volumes. I just ignored it for a while until i started messing with the knobs and figured out that didnt help.. so i turned the amp around and one tube wasnt glowing anymore and the other wasnt glowing very much.. i just put these tubes in yesterday (JJ 6l6gc) and they were working fine! How could this happen? I popped in my old El34s and hit the bias switch and they were working perfectly. The tubes were brand new.. i dont understand whats wrong.. was it the tubes or the amp?

Ok. Since I am planing on buying a PA system(Because I am the vocalist in the band) I was thinking of instead of lugging around all the gear and stuff. Just buying a Pod XT Live and running it straight into the PA system. How does it sound?

hey i just rewired my guitar that only has 2 pots... i changed it from 1 vol 1 tone to, just plain.. 2 volumes!
