I want to wire up my dad's bass in series because he wants more output out of his pickups. How do I go about doing this?

I've got a mahogany, set neck guitar and I want to put a Demon in the bridge, but I don't know what to put in the neck. I want to put a Dimarzio PAF Pro but I don't want the neck to be louder than the bridge. Any suggestions for a pickup.

Since I dedicated today to myself, I've been experimenting on my Valvetronix as far as easily achieved mods.

If you replaced the stock tuners what did you replace them with and why? Where they drop in or did they require drilling(Not a problem)? How well did the new tuners hold tuning?

What effects do covers have on pickups? and is it posible to put a cover on a pickup without one?

Gday. Im buying a 250k and a 500k volume pot and the shop i buy most of my stuff from only stocks dimarzio pots. Are these any good? I was originally looking for some CTS ones and im just wondering if the Dimarzios are good or if i should just go some where and get the CTS ones? Thanks for any help.

The step with the big fretfile seems pretty straightforward to do on a cylindrical fingerboard, however with compound radius, how is it done? 3 frets at a time only, and very carefully following the already established curve? If it's done the same was as non compound fingerboard, I'd imagin you lose a lot of the radii.

Like EMG you can tell what model EMG it is by the logo color. I like the way ibanez does theirs. Thats the coolest way i think. I think the ibanez lookes the best with the 2-3 letters and tell what model they are.

My Gamp;L Legacy 2HB came in last Thursday. The pics aren't the best....turns out I know very little about the girlfriend's digital camera. Anyways, the body is alder and the neck/fretboard are maple. Up till now I've only liked the standard mahogany body/maple cap with rosewood fretboard. It's turning out I like the alder set up as well.
