I've noticed some 30 to 40 watt amps, notably the Peavy Delta blues, is offered in two flavours. One has 2x10 speakers and the other 1x15. I know there are other setups 4x10, 2x12, 3x10, 1x12, etc, but I was wondering what people's opinion are about 2x10 vs 1x15.

I'm currently looking into a new guitar and have narrowed it down to two models. I'm stuck between the PRS CE 22 and Carvin CT6M. I have not played the Carvin because I haven't been able to find a dealer anywhere near me, so I have to sort of choose in the dark. I hear great things about the company, however, and how they are often compared to Paul Reed guitars. If I plan to change the pickups regardless of my final choice, so which guitar would you recommend based on fine quality and tone?

I have been ruined. I amp looking for a Fender point-to-point amp. I probably could have bought a Line 6 Spider and been completely happy. But, this forum has ruined me. Plus, there are vintage Princeton's out there that I can afford and I will likely be able to re-sell it in a year or so and not lose anything while I own it.

I am finding that I have to turn down lots off bass and a little mids to get the tone of the guitar to cut through the mix coming out of the PA. Do you add additional EQ at the desk or switch EQ off altogether? I am happy with the sound coming out of my amp except there is not alot of bass but dont know how to capture that same sound through the PA without destorying it at the desk. Also I need to know how to get more volume from the desk with the deskquot;s EQ off.

I found a basher Les Paul. Thinking abouit trying this combo, maybe even detuning to D, and playing obnoxiously loud. Thoughts.....will this work? The pup combo?

Hey guys, my mate has the PA system below, a bass amp, two guitar amps and an electronic drumkit. The electronic drumkit is already hooked up to the system.I have a few questions1) Can the 3 amps (bass and 2 guitar) be hooked up to the PA using standard guitar cables?2) Is there shielding issues? Possible electrocution, etc.3) Is it better to hook up microphones and put them next to the amplifiers.Any other comments for a PA newb like me?Thanks,Bee
