Was noticing the other day with my USA Jackson that I get a slight buzzing from the bridge pickup (JB) which will go away when I touch any of the knobs. I've had several pups in there, so the chance of operator error during installation is probably high

I do repair work for some of my friends, and right now I've got about 3 different projects lined up.

Is it possible too put banjo or bouzouki strings on a acoustic guitar? Are the strings too short/long or will they fit? Has anybody tried this? Do i have too adjust my neck? Do i have to make a new saddle and/or nut?

I must say this is my first amp. I was looking for something portable, maybe like a Smokey, but my music store didn't stock antything of the kind and there are somethings they can't order. They used to have the mini Marshal but that is no longer sent to Portugal.

I've been looking at some Warmoth trems, and I just have a quick question. The vintage Fender trem has six screws, the standard (or modern) one has 2. Having only 2 screws is said to improve performance, so why would people still want the old 6-screw version? Is it for the vintage appeal/aesthetic? Are there any functional superiorities that I've missed? Does it sound any better?

i want one that will give me effects without shaping my guitar and amp tone.. and one that i can plug into a MIDI board so i can switch the amp and rack unit channels at the same time. and if it has a good chorus sound thats even better.. what are your guys' suggestions?

Ok, swapping a magnet on a HB isn't such a problem, but what about a Single Coil? What would I need to do to change the polarity from north to south? Is it possible to to that?
