I've only a passing knowledge of Bill Lawrences various companies/pickups but my friend gave me a set of them (at least that's what I figure them to be...) to replace the stock pickups in my 80's Japanese strat.

Celestion Vintage Neodymium
I've tried few Celestion speakers (vintage 30, greenback, 12G7 etc) but so far my favorite is Vintage Neodymium. It sounds bright (clarity), tight and articulate with less breakup. I think it's an ideal speaker for multi-channel amp because it stays clean way better than any other speakers I used without breaking up too early when clean channel is used. When dirty channel is selected and once it starts breakup, it breaks up like no other speakers and you get this articulate dirty sound with clarify, definition and warmth.
I use it in both of my combos (Traynor YCV40 1X12 and Chubster 55 1X12). The tonal improvment is significant! Also, the best part is the weight. You wouldn't believe how LIGHT it is. So my combos are very portable, which is a BIG PLUS if you gig out.

Is my speaker worthless??
My Jensen P12R 8 ohm 12' from my Blues Junior died and I was wandering if there is any reasonable way to fix it or should I just scrap it? Cosmetically it looks new, but it just doesn't work anymore when plugged in. It doesn't seem to be blown the way I have seen speakers blow in the past where you can push on the cone and get a scraping noise. If it where yours what would you do with it?

15K vs 20K ...
I want a new bridge pickup, and right now I have a Jackson J50BC that has an output of about 8.6k. I was thinking about getting a parrallel axis Distortion trembucker but jumping from 9 to 21 k of output may be a shock... What am I to expect?
Would I lose a lot of soun quality if I opted for a Custom for instance?

problem with strings sustaining and sounding out
I have been having this problem for awhile on my tele. the d,b, and high e string don't ring out or sound as loud as the others. I have tried adjusting the action but it didn't help much. I keep the saddles pretty much the same height I dont care for the arch in them i do have the strings i mentioned a little closer to the pickup though. the strings cant really be any lower because they buzz and have dead notes. I didn't have these problems with the strings not sounding out with the stock pickups. So far the rio grande pickups and the fralin blues special have did it. the neck pickup picks up all the strings the same amount and sounds fine. What could be the cause of this? And is there anyway to raise the pole pieces on tele bridge pickups?
