Just picked this up brand new for ?36 (?41 inc packaging)
Should be cool, altho ive a JB and alnico 2 buckers on the way, should provide me with another pup to install to see if i like.

I'm looking to replace a few parts on my Schecter (the mounting rings, knobs, nut, and the tune-o-matic bridge), and was wondering what you guys thought the nicer options available out there are. I know of the TonePros, Schaller, and Gotoh.

For those out there who have heard the Patb-3 trembucker-does it have a good lower mids quot;growlquot;(like the screamin demon has)???.i love the overall e.q. and the smoothness of the '59 but wish it had a tad bit more mids.lower mids to be specific.the C5 has descent low mids,but too boomy in the bass dept and a little too compressed for my taste......been thinking of sending in my '59b to the duncan custom shop and having it rewound to the specs of the Patb-3(if it's got the growl factor???).

Any of you guys ever find a good mod that allows the volume pot taper to occur quicker and with a smoother overall taper using 500k pots?

I've been doing some real in depth research on P-90's especially the ones from Guitars Fetish, the GFS P-90 model.

Is installign a seymoru duncan humbucker easy to in a fender fat stratocaster? Has Anyone done this before, and could give me any tips/hints.

I'm really glad I bought my 120 watt Valvetronix head..I've really been having alot of fun with this thing and I Like the tone and the way it reacts...If you happen upon one while you're walking around your music store,check it out..Please be sure you twist some knobs and treat it like any other amp...

with the distortion all the way down and the level all the way up serve the same as using an overdrive like a tubescreamer before the pre? I've never used an overdrive before the pre so I don't know the tonal differences between that and using a distortion pedal with the the level up and distortion down. I have a ds-1 that I never use so I was trying to find a use for it and I don't have an overdrive so I was just wondering.
