So I did a pickup swap and kept the original covers on one of my Les Paul clones. The pickups in there now were previously potted prior to the swap and were not microphonic, so I'm assuming that the swap is the culprit.

guitar for trade or sale.
I have a barely used EVH Peavey Wolfgang, USA made. It is in perfect shape, sounds good and plays great. It is a great guitar just doesnt fit my style. If anyone wants to straight up buy it... PM me a price. I'd be totally open for trades as well. Doesnt have to be right on for equal value if it is pretty close. I play mostly blues and classic rock so looking for a guitar along those lines.

questions about a marshall amp and cab
a few years ago there was a hand wired (i think) off set marshall and a matching speaker cab. It looked old, but not reliced in any way. tell me all about it. I heard one and i loved the sound. i would really like to know what kind of speakers were in the cab. I know that is a sound i would like to have.

ft emg 81
I don't have any wires for it just the pickup and a full set of the long shaft controls that came with it. one of the pots has some solder where i started to install it. i think i have some screws and springs that fit it. I also have 4 q-parts dome knobs i will get rid of. 3 are chrome with the diamond top and one is black with the diamond top. the black was a mistake but they wouldnt let me return them. I am looking for a Iommi sig. pickup or a good neck pickup also interested in p90's

FS/FT Marshall Shredmaster
Alright, I've lived by this pedal for a while, but I finally found the right head for me, so it's time to move on. Up for grabs is my Marshall Shredmaster distortion pedal. The battery cover's missing, but other than that, it's in perfect working order. quot;Still has the 'ol tagger on it!quot;, the tag that says quot;Made in Englandquot;. It has true-bypass and sounds like a DREAM! I really don't know what to ask for it, so let's just say around the ballpark of 130 shipped, since that seems to be the going price on ebay. I'll also accept any reasonable trade offers. If anybody has any EMG's(81/85), it's yours! ; ) Just PM me, or for a faster response, you can email me at JJesse@ec.rr.com .

Orange Opinions please
I've always had a soft spot for Orange amps. I've never owned any, but a shop near me has a pair of Orange heads for sale. An AD30 twin channel and a Rocker 30. I know that Orange can do classic rock with their eyes shut, but are they versatile enough. You can see from my current setup that I have versatility coming out of my ears, but sometimes it gets tedious and time consuming fine tuning the sound, and some days it never seems to be right. The guy in the shop says you can't get a bad sound from the Orange, but can I cover nice and clean to nasty and dirty using an Orange and my current guitar/pedals. I like the idea of them being 30 watts, so I can push the power stage more, my Marshall always sounds better when cranked but it's not always practical. Any thought, advice or experience will be greatly received. Thanks.
