I love the pup but want a all black or a black/creme one

Anyone have a used Dimarzio Tone Zone or Air Zone for the bridge in F space? I don't care about the color at all.. and it can even be beat up as long as it plays and has enough lead for the bridge position!

OK, I tested my Blues Junior louder today and like the clean so much I'll keep it so the 6L6 have to go now. They have, no joke, less than 30 minutes of playing. I just tried them in my former Peavey Ultra and remove them to sell the amp. They are grade #38, which is good for Peavey Ultra and Traynor YCV40 amps among others.

THIS has always been my weak point. I'm sure a lot of people who are mixingly challenged would love to hear the advice from those of us who mix very well. What are we doing wrong? What is the limit we should follow as far as reverb use, compressor use, alcohol use? How do you guys get your stuff to sound so quot;airyquot; and seperated, especially hard rock and metal. What is the best way to mix vocals and get them to stand out instead of sounding buried.

i am beginning to prefer the thicker necks more and more.... and my RG's wizard 1 is the wrong neck for that, hah. its in great condition with only a few dings considering its 1991 MIJ. its specs are in my sig.

In order for 3 single coil pickups to be in TRUE humbucking mode, 1 has to be RWRP, correct? Is that the ONLY requirement? I'm sure this is MEGA reduntant! What can I say, I'm new to this forum. I tried cranking my amp today to about 6 and the tried 7 a bit I think maybe heard the overdrive sound, but it's hard to tell since I didn't use an attenuator and it was really loud especially since I did it in my dorm room. My amp has 2 knobs for distortion, a pre-amp and a gain sensitivity. I'm trying to find the spot where power tube distortion starts to kick in. I tried it with the pre-amp and gain low, is this what I should do and just crank the master volume? It's just hard for me to tell because I'm not sure exactly what the overdriven tone sounds like. Erikh could you tell what settings you use to get the overdriven sound on your amp, so I can get a general idea where to get my settings to.
