I find myself jamming with my band for extented periods of time and running my amp was to hard so the the tubes start to overheat. What should i use for a fan, how can i install it, how much will it cost?

Why in the H-E-double hockeysticks can people like Barber and Carl Martin put out such wonderful sounding gain pedals in teeny weeny little boxes for $100-$200, yet NOT ONE FRIGGIN AMP COMPANY CAN MAKE A SOLID STATE AMP THAT SOUNDS 1/2 AS GOOD EVEN AT 3 TIMES THE PRICE????

hey, im about to order in an american telecaster, vintage white and i ahvent decided on a maple or rosewood fretboard. But, i do know thati want to replace my pickups with something that'll let me play to hard rock i want to while still being able to maintain that awesome clean telecaster sound. Is the STHR-1 Tele Hot Rails Pickup the best way to go? Any other suggestions....and how much do these go for in stores in US dollars??? Thanks!

okay this is really stupid but okay my bridge pup is a c5 OR a jazz i dont want to take them out just to see so im asking whats the difference in looks i dont no both of the pups by sound so i cant compare tone. But if sum1 could show me pics of what a blk c5 in bridge looks like and also a blk jazz in bridge looks likePLEASE!

I was looking at Gretsch Duo Jet w/ bigsby on the net adn i think i have found what i am looking for. I really want well a ricky type sound but with slightly more grunt and more versatility and i think this is is. What do people think about the Duo Jet (with Filterons)?. I want to play surf, brit pop, rockabilly, rock and roll (well a bright jangly sound really)

Ive been playing for about 5 years and like last year i came up with the idea that if i used heavier strings than it would be a better exercise than lighter strings so i switched to 11s but im starting to wonder that i should probably go with a lighter string cause there would be less muscle tension and id be able to play faster and when my band gets more serious id switch to a lighter string anyway but for practicing speed should i go with a heavier or lighter string?

I tried a JB bridge pickup, and i loved the sound on the lower strings and hated the higher ones. The three lowest were perfect but the three highest were to trebly and biting and harsh. What pickup has similar lows to the JB but is smoother up high?
