is it possible to wire a H-H, 3-way guitar so that the middle selection kills the guitar completely? My friend saw my guitar and demanded I work on his. All help is appreciated!

i have a dsl100 modded by voodoo amps. Played a show last night amp was fine. Tonight, i was at band practice and my amp was fine intill about 2 hours into it. I picked my guitar back up turned the volume up and the sound was horrible and real faint. Hit the distortion and it became a little louder not even close to where it should have been and sounded reall bad again. I swapped guitars and cords. Still the same, i have a g-major effects processor in the effects loop and the level into the effects processor was lower then normal. I removed the processor to narrow it down more... still the same.

Does anyone know what value resistor I could use to cut a pup's output in half?

How do you guys feel about artifically aging guitars. I see a lot of vintage or Murphy aged Les Pauls that sure do look pretty. I'm not talking about aging like having finish removed in spots or gouging....like an SRV strat, just light to medium finish checking and having a nice patina to the hardware and finish.

what's wrong with my les paul??? when i touch any metal parts (including the strings) on my les paul, it makes this tiny little popping noise... it's annoying as hell!!!!! anyone go through this problem??? i don't know what's wrong with it!!
