What ohmage of speakers would I use and what wiring configuration would I use to get a 2x12 cab rated at 16 ohms?

Gamp;G Electric Guitar Case -- $25 plus $15 shipping. Case is in excellent condition. Was used to ship my Mockingbird but I have a form fitting case for it.

How critical is it that all the strings line up over the pup polepiece? Check out my high E string. Anyway to fix this?
As long as that string isn't quieter than the others, it's not a big deal at all. When you bend, it should get closer to the pole piece so I don't see any problem.

Hi all, I just replaced the pick up on my Music Man Sting Ray, ernie Ball
Found the stock pickup for the Musicman just to harsh and twangy for me.

I think JB should work with a 500K volume pot. Could it sound good with a 250K volume pot? I´ll match it with woodstocks at bridge and middle.

I saw this Fender set called 1090 Bajo sexto telecaster .016-.066 for A tuning, i have never heard of this tuning/strings before and i wonder what styles/persons uses this strings/tuning? Is it possible to tune these strings in regular E tuning?

Any ideas?

Read about them over at the Les Paul Forum, so I thought I'd give them a whirl. The LPF raves about Pyramid strings and Snake Oils. They don't have a website, but the guy that makes them has written a ton of articles for Vingage Guitar Magazine about different strings, manufacture, 60's string vs new strings, ect.
