Well I finally took the plunge...after weeks of debate I just placed an order with my buddy Kevin at Black Rose for a Custom Custom bridge and Phat Cat neck for my SG Standard. I'm hoping this takes care of the tinny bridge sound and creates a crunchy rock/blues machine. Details to follow and thanks to everyone for their input.

I have an older Boss DD2, i love it except for the fact that when i turnit off all the repeats stop. Is there anyway to mod it so when i disengage the pedal the repeats will not stop abruptly but continue to repeat until they fade out sensibly? Thanks.

Have you listened to the sound clips on the site and would you say that is an accurate representation? I would like to get into that heavier territory once in a while and I liked the sound of the clips.

I have a Mesa Single Recto half stack that I bought 2 years ago. I have never changed the tubes as I didn't realize it was even an issue until reading up on it here over the last few weeks. Is there gonna be that much of a difference? Will switching them be worth it? Lastly, doesn't Mesa put pretty decent tubes in their amps at the factory? All in all should i replace them or what kind should i replace them with?

Question Where can I buy a descent strat replacement body. I'm trying to get quality without the Warmoth price tag. Is this possible? Has anyone tried some of these EBAY stores that sell bodies?

OK my playing is not the greatest, but I recorded Led Zeps BLackdog, berfore and after I put in my pickups made at UGD. THE LAST ONE made that day also.
