Just remembered my post on the Peavey forums asking about the Pred's pickup specs. 7 to 7.5k! That's not alot of output, even less then i expected. It's going to be a big jump if i put the Distortion set in. MMMmm....I can hear the pinch harmonics now. lol

FS: Epiphone SG Standard with Grovers
Alright, I have a 2005 Epiphone SG Standard with the Cherry Red finish. This guitar plays great, it's got Grover tuners, and a large pickguard like the Gibsons, not the small '61 reissue pickguard. There isn't a single scratch on this guitar, it is in mint condition. I'm in a pinch and I need the money, so I'm gonna' have to let go of this one since I don't play it that much. I'm asking $350 shipped, and I'll also entertain trades, just lemme' know what you have. Serious inquiries only please, and if you'd like pictures go ahead and send me an email at JJesse@ec.rr.com , and I'll email them to you.

Do I need a 10 band EQ?
I love my amps tone, clean and dirty. Would a graphic equalizer enhance or broaden my tone? Is an EQ considered a necessity to maximize tone? (Christmas list time!)

good pickups for a Red Bear
hey, i've got a question regarding pick-up choice for a Red Bear MK 60 head. for those who may not have heard of them, they're a russian handwired tube head, discontinued in the 90's, and distrobuted by gibson. Currently i have an epiphone sg with a SD alnico 2 pro in the bridge, and basically it sounds like total ass. however, a friend of mine has a similar guitar, but with a SD custom custom, and the same head, and it sounds increadible through both of our heads! basically its an extreamly picky head, sounds alot like a JCM 800, but a little creamier if you will... basically i'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for which type of pickup will get me a warm, more mid-heavy sound. the amp doesn't like alot of high's, as it tends to result in noisy, shrill and just plain irritating tones. anyways, if anyone has heard this amp, it'd be a great help, or just some general pickups to try out that have a thick mid-range. thanks!

Tell Me About A PG In The Bridge Of A Lester
I've never tried one in a LP type guitar. I can say that I didn't get along well with the neck version in my Hardtail. I picked one up for a great price, but haven't put it in yet. Will it have enough bottom end? How are the highs? Is it too thin? You know...the standard questions.

How to tell if RWRP or not?...
I've bought a couple of SD strat pickups off ebay for cheap and I'd like to determine whether one or both of them are RWRP or not. What's the best way to determine this?
