Question Where can I buy a descent strat replacement body. I'm trying to get quality without the Warmoth price tag. Is this possible? Has anyone tried some of these EBAY stores that sell bodies?
I bought a body of of Ebay once that was bulit by WD for a little over 100 dollars and it was of excellent fit and finish. The wood was high quality, and really was a great strat body. If you can find a WD built body on Ebay for a reasonable price, jump on it, they are great bodies in my experience.
Ever try one of the finnished strat bodies from Stew Mac? They are only $199usa for a fully painted Ash Strat body with a fancy maple top. www.stewmac.com

The Cherry rear routed ones look great but i also like the other colours too. I have enough hardware parts at home to built a nice guitar or a few for that mattter.... I have a set of Duncans, a JB and a Jazz, A few Fender single coils and a few Noiseless pickups..... i have lots of strat trem bridges- including a new Fender American Standard and a Fender/Floyd trem off an American Deluxe strat.. I have a few tuner sets and a few electronic parts like pots and switches... $200usa for one of these bodies and a $200 Warmoth neck and i could build a new custom strat.....
The Stew Mac Strat necks are cheap and fully finnished but have too small a fret for my tastes....
