Well maybe not ashamed.

I have an axe with an OFR and a maple neck/fretboard. A little bright and thin. I had a JB and Jazz set in there which seemed to make the problem worse since they are clear cutting pickups to begin with although my favorite two. They just weren't working in this guitar. I got offered a set of Dimarzios, I put an Air Norton in the neck and Tone Zone in the bridge and it really brought the guitar to life. This'll be the first time I ever use Dimarzios in an axe for any period of time but I'm liking it so far. I'll always be faithful to Duncan for my future axes though.

But I guess it's cause Dimarzio's main deal is focusing on floyded super strats.
