Dang! I can't get C5 with gold cover!
The Gibby pups (R490 amp; T498) in my LP have gone microphonic, so I ordered a C5b amp; '59n to replace them. I just got a call from the music store amp; was told the only SD pups I can get with gold covers is the '59, Jazz amp; JB. What a bummer! I guess I could get the JB/Jazz combo, but it's not really want I want.

Question about Tapped Quarter Pound for Strat...
I have a pickguard loaded with three Quarter Pound Strat pups that I happen to really like. Recently I got the idea of maybe making the whole setup more flexible by using the Tapped version with a set of push/pull pots instead. So I went out on eBay to find one just to try it out and see. I haven't installed it, but I tested the DC resistance with my meter and found the Red/Black wire pair to read 7.1k but the White/Black wires gives me zip. So I figured great, a broken pickup. So I went out and got another one which just came today. Dug out my meter and sure enough, the Red/Black leads read about 7.2k and the White/Black pair again couldn't even make the meter blink.

Traynor Blue 50
I heard from Yorkville sound that Traynor now has a 12quot; extension cabinet for the new Traynor Blue 50 amp. It's apparently an 8 ohm match for the Blue 50 combo. Here is the contact if you need more information.

APH1 spacings for Epiphone Les Paul
Hi: I'm new to this forum but I didn't see a thread on this question yet. I have an Ephiphone Elite LP and wish to change my pick ups to the APH1 (both neck and bridge). My current spacings (E string to E string) are slightly less than 2quot; for the neck, and slightly more than 2quot; for the bridge. Is this a problem when replacing pickups, or is the distance so slight it doesn't matter. Thanks!

Necessary Effects
Ok Ok, I'm, ready to put together an effects pedal board. But, I only want the essential and necessary effects like Delay, Overdrive, phasers, and Chorus. How any of each do you think I need? I've got about $300 to drop on all my effects.
Im thinkin about a DD-3 delay, 2 DS-1's or 1 Tweak Buzz, Small stone phaser, and a chorus (BOSS or DOD) oh yeah and a Wha. I hope I can find these on Ebay cheap enough to fit my tight budget. If I'm hoplessly under budgeted, what would you chop off the list.
