I think I'm going to buy a 2x12 cab to run my Vox Cambridge (30w, 1x10, 4 ohm extension) through. I've been looking at Orange and Marshall primarily. What else is good, yet decently priced. I'd like to spend $200 or less.

I'm selling my Marshall this week and the buyer wants me to change the speakers back to stock. I don't have any experience wiring cabs, but I think I can figure it out. The thing I am unclear of is which wire goes to which point on the speaker. There is a red wire and a black wire, and there are two terminals on each speaker. Does it matter which terminal each wire goes to?

it's in pretty good condish. had it several years and it has served me very well. I bought a Boss FS-5U non-latching footswitch for it as an external control, I'll include it as well. I also have the original manual. $250. trying to raise some money for a Mesa/Boogie Maverick 2x12

I want to know, my friend at the local store said the Monkey was Digitech's version of the Boss SD-1, true? IIRC i read somewhere on the net that the new Digitech D seies pedals were modeled after old DOD pedals, which pedal is the Monkey made after if that's the case?

So you know any good songs for a beginner? I'm not so much into playing big chords and stuff, and I have a DVD for that kind of stuff, but I'm thinking more like playing songs with alot of single notes, if you understand what I mean. I'm mostly into rock/metal stuff, so I don't mind if there's some power chords mixed with alot of single notes etc. I play en electric guitar, and I'm doing all the crhomatic stuff etc. everyday, I wouldn't mind some songs with hammer on's and pull off's either, since I need that practiced badly.

Anyone have any experience with putting 6L6's in a Marshall.

Anyone used this? Im still searchin for the right pickup for my fat strat so hopefully one of you rockers can fill me in on this pickup.

I am thinking of buying 1 or 2 Groove tubes 12ax7m ecc83 tubes and wanted to know how it compares to a Electroharmonix 12ax7 ?
