Hey guys I need some help locating a buzz on my Strat. It's currently loaded with Gold lace sensors and 500k pots. At certain angles to the amp, and more often than not, it will buzz if I'm not touching any metal on the guitar. Most people would probably be able to live with it, but since they're lace sensors I know everything is capable of being dead quiet.

Hey guys. I installed two Dimarzio (gasp) humbuckers in my Ibanez RG-520. After some time, i saw that the pickups would NOT stay level. They would always tilt foward, with the slug side being closer to the strings than the screw side. What could be the problem? Possibly the wires underneath? Thanks in advance.

I'll admit it, for years I never liked teles. I thought they looked quot;goofyquot; and I hadn't played one in probably 5 yrs.....so this week I decided to go to GC and try out a Mccarty (which was friggin' sweet , but that's off subject) . While I was there I saw a lite ash tele and decided to try it out....Well, holy **** I was blown away! There was just something about it, it sounded like what I've always tried to get my strat to sound like... It just seemed to have more character than my strat: fuller, punchier with great clarity... Then today I started thinking about my strat, it's an ash body and maple neck/fretboard...like the tele I played.... a few years ago, after never using the tremelo and getting tired of tuning issues, I put 5 springs in and put the bridge flush against the body, so it's kinda-sorta like a hardtail....although I love the 2 and 4 positions, my favorite strat pup sound has become neck and bridge together....I've always liked my strat for it's great clean sound and clarity, and on the rare occasion when someone other than me has played it, they love it... but I've always felt like something was missing...now I know... I like teles!
A friend suggested I should sell my strat and get a tele, but I just can't do it...my strat and I have been through too much together Well I guess the telecaster gets added to my ever-growing G.A.S. list...

Hi, just wondering whther or not my heavy Les paul copy is safe on a guitar wall hanger? I am not worried about the hanger coming off the wall, more whether the guitars head can take the weight without any risk of damage.

I may be buying a used one (less than a year old) for $225. Gonna throw a '59 bucker in the bridge. Is it true that the Mexican strats have improved a great deal in recent years?

Hey all, I've started looking for an acoustic guitar so I can play around my house and go to friends houses without bringing around my amp, and just so I can have an acoustic guitar. I've found a style and design I like, but theres the choice of without a solid top which is less expensive, and then the solid top which is about 100 dollars more expensive. What are the differences in tone between the two types of tops? Is it really noticeable?

ok well i need advise on what pick up i sould get need some thing that will go from sounding like a sg tone on distortion (i tried a sg epophone gothic on my rig love the distortion but clean was weak and stunk) and like reel big and clear sounding on clean. any recomedations? o i have a ibanez rg and a jcm 2000 head.
