OK, I may be having buyer's remorse with my Lawrence L500L. Not that it's a bad pickup, I think I just pictured it sounding different.

Dr Z Mini Z
I played this new little 5 watt amp from Dr Z again and that thing just kills for blues or classic rock. It's little but it's already loud at 9 o'clock on the volume. It's got an 8 inch Weber speaker. It breaks up right away but cleans up nicely when you roll the volume off on your guitar. It has a big full sound and reminds me a bit of an old supro. It just cranks and it's raw and agressive, the way I like it. I'm putting it on my ever growing list of amps to aquire.

What do you think of my pedal board?
I seem to like Boss. It's a start anyway.

Pearly Gates neck
How does the Pearly Gates neck pickup sound when playing clean? I'm looking to replace the '59 I currently have. I'm looking for something very full and open sounding with decent clarity, but not to the point of being glassy, like the '59. Medium output would probably be best. Does the Pearly Gates fit this decription?

Groove Tubes GE reissues (6L6/6CA7)
Are the Groove Tubes GE 6L6 amp; GE 6CA7 reissues actually made in California? I heard the first lots were but now Aspen has moved production to China. Can anyone confirm this? I know his Chinese Mullard 12AX7s are crap, I had three die on me within one week of the warranty expiring. Sure, they sound great, when they work! Just want to know if his GT power tubes are going to be the same disaster that the Mullards reissues are turning out to be.

Mesa/Boogie DC-3
Well.... I have a opportunity to buy a Mesa/Boogie DC-3. I've got a couple of question's about the amp. A). Will 35 watts keep up with a full band? Thats the biggest thing, it's a 35 watt combo I need to know if that will keep up with a band and B). Versatility, i'm not looking for some kind of super amp but decent cleans to a good high gain is expected from a mesa, true for this amp?
