I had a gig at a local club tonight. Crapped out on me before we even started (I guess that's a good thing in way). I've never replaced the tubes and I got the amp used so I'm not sure how much life they had in them so I'm assuming that's them but I don't get to mess with it untill later this weekend (where it is and such) so I figured I'd ask you guys off the bat. The clean channel was fine and loud but the dirty channel was very very quiet and not broken up at all (clean). Does this sound like a blown tube?

I was wondering what brand of guitar makes a good quality explorer shape guitar with korina wood or if i should just custom order it and if so from where. Im just worried if a lesser quallity hardware would affect the tone and ive also heard that some companies korina guitars arent real korina wood. Ive heard that the ibanez lawsuit explorers from the 70s were good quality and obviously the gibsons are good quality but what else is there.

Does anybody know the suggested retail price of 1 phat cat? My local dealer is charging $149 Canadian a piece for them. That doesn't sound right to me. What should I expect to pay new for one of these?

I sold my Deja Vibe 2 (it wasn't really gellin' with me, ask me why if ya wanna know) and promptly used the $$ to buy a Fulltone Ultimate Octave pedal. I'd been looking for a good vintage-style octave pedal with some modern flavor to it and this REALLY hit the spot!

I went thru this tube search and may be sticking with EL34 tubes in my dual rectifier. I have a set of Svetlana 6l6 tubes used for about 1 hour and checked/rated by Bruce Egnater last week. I think they sound the sweetest in tone and have the best low end but I am leaning towards the mids of the EL34 Svetlana from Mesa. Mesa sent these special order and one of them had a ding in the glass so they sent another matching one to me. All 5 work perfect.
I will sell for $95 for all 5 with shipping.

Iwas wondering does the tweak fuzz do Bigg Muff Growly low thick style fuzz fuzz.

anybody ever buy a guitar body and or neck . i was lookin to build my own les paul style with there les paul body and there les paul style neck, o BTW does anybody no if the headstock on teh warmoth les paul neck has the open book headstock
