A few months ago I bought a Dean Hardtail Select on the basis of accoustic sound and feel. The pickups are decent but all along I was planning to switch them for some new ones. I have never put new pickups into a guitar. I play mostly jazz fusion, rock fusion, funk and jazz. Im really into the sounds and styles of Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Mike Stern and John Scofield. I was recommended getting a jazz in the neck and a JB in the bridge. Does anyone have any suggestion for pickup combos for this guitar?
Cheers

Amplifier pedals for sale
I have a Hughes and Kettner Edition Tube 20 (1 x 12) amp for sale. 20 watts (2 el84s, 2 12ax7s) It has 2 channels with 3 band EQ and reverb. It has a great clean channel and does mid gain distortions extremely well(i also got some great sabbath tones out of it). Comes with an extra pair of JJ el84 power tubes and 4 extra 12ax7 preamp tubes. No footswitch. I got this off of a forum member in a trade and its not really my thing. - Looking for $400 shipping

Converting MusicMan to Marshall....Possible?
My MM212HD died just before I re-deployed back to Iraq. After a conversation with Scott F about converting the amp rather than getting a cap job, I got to thinking about the idea. We have a guy working over here what is an electronics guru. I downloaded the schematics for my MM and a Marshall and after looking at them he stated that it would be easy. Anyone every tried this? Any thoughts?
Thanks

So, is the CustomCustom any good?
I´ve been thinking of putting a HB in the bridge of my forthcoming custom telecaster. So far I´ve thought the custom custom would be a good choice, as I want the bridge to be fairly hot without being over-the-top, and I don´t want it to be too bright either, as the alder body/maple neck is gonna be quite bright already.

Twangy pup question
I posted this in the guitar forum by mistake earlier, but I am looking to get a bridge pup for my Tele that is ULTRA twangy. I want that really cornball, quacky country spank sound. What is the best pup out there that you guys have heard? It doesn't have to be a SD, but if it is a SD that's a plus.

dimebucker blades
The specs page says the dime uses stainless steel blades. But stainless is non-magnetic from what I understand. How is the mags field transferred to the strings?
