My MM212HD died just before I re-deployed back to Iraq. After a conversation with Scott F about converting the amp rather than getting a cap job, I got to thinking about the idea. We have a guy working over here what is an electronics guru. I downloaded the schematics for my MM and a Marshall and after looking at them he stated that it would be easy. Anyone every tried this? Any thoughts?

To clairify some. Basically I would use the MM's exsisting power amp an covert the solid state pre amp to tube style.
