I am lookink for a neck pickup to compliment the Distortion in the bridge of my RG. This guitar is primarily a metal shred machine played thru a high gain amp. Which of these two pickups will better handle metal toned lead work?

I cant say because I have not played the DD neck. The full shred neck is really nice in my opinon. Its really bright and clear. Brighter than a Jazz.

Not sure the distortion would be good in the neck. Thought it was more a bridge pickup. That said, I have a Full Shred and dig it totally.

I have a DDn in the neck. Very clear, nice quot;punchquot;. Excellent quot;Strat-ishquot; character when split. Its one of my favorite humbucker sounds.
