Well, the title pretty much says it all. I'm looking for pickup ideas to replace the stock pups in a rock maple neck, leaf maple body PJ style bass.

Anyone know if their low end models are any good? My dad has the i9p, and its awsome. Are they're low end models nice too?

Locking Tuners? pros vs contras
So why do some of you prefer locking- while others stay with non-locking tuners?
Thanks

need help attatching strap/strap to new agile 3500 guitar with my upgraded duncans
hi all i posted on the pickups thread the other day bout the lefty agile 3500 (picked up at rondo today) with upgraded duncan jb/jazz combo. it is great an i will give an update to my prior thread once i get this annoying issue worked out. i bought strap locks as this is a heavy guitar (they say quot;shraller on the back). problem is i now have no idea how to attatch the strap and the strap locks to the guitar. first i presumed that the strap would go over the strap holder (or whatever the part is called hat is actually attatched to the guitar) and then the shraller would snap on over that. after fiddling with it it has become apparant this is not the case. next i have tried attatching the strap to the clip on piece then putting the washer and screw over that. is is painfully obvious that both of my straps are too thick for this to be the way it attatches as i cant even get the washer/screw to attatch with the strap on. what am i missing? help!

Sonar question
I have the new version Sonar 5 producer edition. When recording the guitar, am I to assume that the onboard compressors and EQs are as good or better than the Presonus EQ3B and Com16? I'm going to be recording two amps at once and I've got all my mics now, two of the mic preamps and I'm about to buy a two in one preamp, but if I don't need to spend the extra $600 on a compressor and EQ for each channel, I'd like to avoid that. I already have one Presonus EQ amp; Compressor and they are more than enough in quality for what I'm doing. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether or not these internal effects are as good as outboard units.

Hey everyone, will be replacing my EpiLP custom stock pups with a Full Shred neck and Custom bridge...I've seen alot mentioned about the height of the pup in relation to the strings for optimal sound.
